In 1996, current owners, Mark and Kim Heister, realized their dream of owning a sporting goods shop. Mark and his brothers spent countless hours as children, learning to fly fish and hunt with their father. His family spent a great deal of time camping and fishing at the famous waters of the East, including the Willowemac, Beaverkill and Delaware River. It is out of this love of fly fishing and hunting, that the dream of owning a sporting goods shop began to take shape.
